Chess

This game is optimally suited to train mental abilities such as concentration, imagination, combination and more. It is training for the brain itself. In our classes the children get the opportunity to learn the rules and make the first steps in tactical themes of Chess. The children can profit from a chess teacher with many years of experience and more than 80 pupils a year.

Experience Wildlife After School

Wednesdays 14:15-17:00. For students from preschool to grade 4.

Meeting point: JFKS schoolyard at the stairs to the Aula.

Switch on your eyes, ears, and noses and out we go! Let’s discover the parks around the school and you might be surprised how much there is: laughing woodpeckers, spee-dy squirrels, trees older than your great grandparents…. Or maybe you are just in the mood for running, jumping, balancing (we always carry a bunch of ropes with us) or would like to do arts and crafts with natural materials.

The course is run by two nature- and environmental teachers.
